Describe the band, win a beer

We are going to need a description for the band, probably something better than "Straight-forward beer-fueled basement rock." I was thinking something mentioning a combination of classic rock and alternative originals, or something like that... That's sort of what we have that's unique, is that we are doing new music, with alternative rock song structures, but classic rock arrangements.

Alternative Classic Rock???

Dolls in the Ashbin Lyrics

By unpopular request, here ya go:

Gauzy curtain fell
To choose a home
Necesary papers
I tried, I quit, leave it alone

I never dreamed
We could lose the war
A shining example
of life, and death, not your own

Hair is dust
On wooden fingers
Soot covers dark plastic eyes
Six broken thumbs in a row after row
after row after row after row

We all are dolls in the ashbin
Our minds are made of dust and string
Our travels so far have led us
In and around the reasons why

The fire spred
And ate the factory
Where our dumb parents were born
They'll never know about our triumphs
Our failures and weakness and strength

We all are dolls in the ashbin
Our limbs are cut from our frames
Our skin is melted plastic
And I'm pretty sure there's no reason why

View all the lyrics for all songs performed by The Neighbors You Hate as a poorly-formatted Google Doc right here. Actually, Dolls in the Ashbin is missing because I don't know all the words and I don't think Pete wants to write them down for anybody. Something about gauzy curtains and melted plastic or something...

The Neighbors You Hate get a blog

Nearly five minutes in the making, we bring you the fabulous TNYH blog. In the future, look for band photos, bios, MP3s, song lyrics, and all sorts of fun stuff. For now, though, it's just an empty blog.
